Professor Alan Guwy, Head of the University’s Sustainable Environment Research Centre (SERC) is one of the key speakers at the annual Low Carbon Research Institute (LCRI) in Llandudno on 5 and 6 November 2013.
Professor Guwy will speak on Biohydrogen production: they key to increased bio-gas yields from biomass.
Other members of the SERC team will also be attending.
The 2013 LCRI Conference will focus on Low Carbon Market Transitions. Looking at the work of the LCRI in the current economic climate, with speakers discussing the ways our research is having an impact upon the Welsh economy, by developing technologies and services, and creating jobs.
The conference will bring together researchers, policy makers and industry to look holistically at the low carbon agenda.
It will focus on the R&D and innovation needed to deliver governmental policy objectives in Wales, the UK and internationally together with the technological, economic and social challenges and opportunies this will involve.
